What happens when strangers commune with puzzles and pie? World Peace, piece by piece! Puzzical Chairs & Pie is an intergenerational and interactive live game experience that fosters creativity and new neural and social connections. Participants will be paired randomly to complete Sarah Jane's fine art 24-piece mini jigsaw puzzles as they listen to live, local music and eat sweet, locally-produced, pocket pies. When the song ends, puzzlers rotate seats to match with a new partner and complete a new puzzle design.

Our designated audience encompasses ages 3-90+ years old - participants need only enough manual dexterity to puzzle. Passive participants are also welcome to listen to music and observe happenings or even cheer people on. Our puzzle events connect people in 5-minute increments and give community access to interactive art and nourishment. To date our events have attracted extraordinarily diverse audiences across age, gender, race, religion, and sexual orientation, facilitating conversation between groups of people who otherwise might not have met.
